Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FindMySchool.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. FindMySchool.ai ("we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FindMySchool.ai. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

3. Beta Access and Invite Codes

FindMySchool.ai is currently in beta. Access may require a valid invite code. Invite codes are non-transferable and may be revoked at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue the beta program at any time.

4. AI-Generated Reports — Not Professional Advice

FindMySchool.ai uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized college match reports. These reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional academic, financial, or admissions advice.

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information provided. AI systems can make errors. You should independently verify all information before making any educational or financial decisions. Always consult with qualified school counselors, financial advisors, or admissions professionals for personalized guidance.

5. Data Sources

College information is sourced from publicly available federal datasets, including the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard, the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), Clery Act campus safety data, and other federal sources. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all data is current or complete. Data is provided as-is for informational purposes.

6. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. We use magic link authentication — you authenticate via a one-time link sent to your email. Notify us immediately at hello@findmyschool.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you submit to FindMySchool.ai, including your quiz responses and profile information. By using the Service, you grant FindMySchool.ai a limited license to process your data to generate reports and improve our service. We may use anonymized and aggregated data (which cannot identify you) to improve our matching algorithms and product. We will never sell your personally identifiable information.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in bulk
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to obtain reports
  • Share or resell access to the Service or your invite code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDMYSCHOOL.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO FINDMYSCHOOL.AI IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS.

11. No Affiliation with Colleges

FindMySchool.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any college, university, or educational institution. College names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

12. Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
