We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated as you use our service:

• Email address — used for magic link authentication via Supabase. We do not store passwords.
• Quiz responses — your academic profile (GPA, test scores), preferences (location, campus size, vibe), and budget information entered during the questionnaire.
• Report history — the AI-generated college match reports we create for you, including the inputs used and the results returned.
• Usage data — page views, interaction events, and performance metrics collected by Vercel Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Generate personalized college match reports
• Store your report history so you can revisit results
• Improve our AI matching models using anonymized, aggregated data
• Monitor service performance and fix bugs via Vercel Analytics
• Respond to support inquiries

4. AI Processing

FindMySchool.ai uses Claude (via Microsoft Azure) to generate your personalized college match reports. When you submit the questionnaire, your responses — including academic profile, preferences, and budget — are sent to this AI service as part of the report generation process. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. Azure's enterprise data privacy commitments apply to this processing.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database provider. FindMySchool.ai is hosted on Vercel. Both services maintain industry-standard security practices. Data is stored in the United States.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (session tokens via Supabase) and basic analytics via Vercel Analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not sell your data. We do not share your personally identifiable information with advertisers.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate FindMySchool.ai:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage
• Microsoft Azure / Anthropic — AI report generation (your quiz responses are processed here)
• Vercel — hosting and analytics

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FindMySchool.ai or its users.

8. Children's Privacy

FindMySchool.ai is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@findmyschool.ai and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (including quiz responses and report history)
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your information

10. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.
