We cross-reference federal Scorecard data with your academic profile, financial situation, preferred location, intended major, and campus vibe to surface schools you'd likely miss on your own.

You answer a 20-question questionnaire covering your GPA, test scores, budget, location preferences, intended major, and campus priorities. Our AI then cross-references 6,400+ schools using federal data and weights each factor by your answers, producing a ranked list with individual match scores for every school. The whole thing takes under five minutes.

We source data from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard — the same federal dataset used by financial aid offices. This includes admissions stats, graduation rates, average net price by family income, career earnings by major, and campus safety data. We refresh it whenever the federal dataset is updated.

After you complete the questionnaire, your report generates in about 30–60 seconds. You'll be redirected directly to your results — no waiting in a queue or checking back later.

No account is required to purchase or generate a report. Stripe collects your email at checkout and we use it to create a lightweight account so you can access your reports anytime. You can also sign in later to revisit or share them.

Every report includes a personalized ranked list of matching schools with individual match scores, admission likelihood ranges, average net price broken down by your family income bracket, career outcome data for your intended major, campus safety metrics, and an AI-written school profile for each match. There's also a shareable results card you can send to parents or counselors.

Published rankings rank schools against each other — they don't rank schools against you. A #15-ranked school might be a terrible fit for your budget, major, or preferred campus size, while a lesser-known school might be a near-perfect match. Our reports start with your profile and work outward, which is fundamentally different from a one-size-fits-all list.

Yes — each report is independent and based on a fresh questionnaire. If you want to explore what changes when you open up your location or lower your budget threshold, buy a multi-credit pack and run a second report with different answers. Many families run two or three to compare scenarios.

Match scores reflect how closely a school aligns with your stated preferences based on federal data. They're a reliable starting point, not a guarantee of admission or happiness. We're transparent about what each score component means — you can see exactly why a school ranked where it did.

Reports reflect the data available at the time of generation. When the federal Scorecard dataset is updated (typically once a year), new reports will use the fresh data. Past reports won't automatically regenerate, but if a major data update occurs, we'll note it in your dashboard.

A single report is $29. The 3-Pack is $49 (about $16 per report, saving 44%), and the 5-Pack is $79 (about $15.80 per report, saving 45%). Multi-credit packs are designed for families exploring multiple scenarios or students applying over multiple cycles.

No. Credits never expire — use them at your own pace, whether that's tomorrow or next year.

Reports are non-refundable once generated, since the AI analysis is performed at that moment. Unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase — just email hello@findmyschool.ai with your order details.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) via Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported on compatible devices. We do not currently accept PayPal or crypto.

Yes. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security certification available.

We use your questionnaire answers solely to generate your report. We don't sell your information to colleges, marketing companies, or anyone else. Your email is used for account access and transactional messages only. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

No. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.

Yes. Email hello@findmyschool.ai and we'll delete your account and associated data within 7 business days. Note that once your data is deleted, we can't restore your past reports.
